Why Ember exists
For a long time, I didn't know what I wanted to work towards. I had ideas, I made plans, and most of them faded after a week. Not because I didn't care, but because nobody was there the next day to ask how it went.
A plan alone rarely gets anyone there. Someone who knows you and stays with you does. So I built Ember: a small companion that helps you find out what you want, walks it with you one step a day, and remembers your story, in your own words.
I'm its first user. It's still young, and it grows with every person who uses it. If something's missing or wrong, tell me: I read every message.

The rules Ember keeps
Promises are easy. These are built into how Ember works.
- No ads.Ember makes money one way: people who choose Ember Plus.
- Memory is never a paid feature.Remembering you is the point of Ember, so it's the same for everyone, for good.
- Honest, kindly.Every memory keeps the words it came from. When Ember's mind can't answer, it says so. Ask it what it is, and it tells you the truth.
- No guilt.Ember never makes you responsible for its mood, and never makes you feel bad for being away.
